VEHICLE HIGHLIGHTS
The 2011 Aston Martin Vantage lineup gains a new high-performance model. Aston Martin's entry-level car comes as the V8 Vantage in 2-seat coupe and convertible body styles. New for 2011 is the high-performance V12 Vantage, which comes only as a coupe. The V8 Vantage has a 420-horsepower 4.7-liter engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automated-manual transmission. The V12 Vantage has a 510-horsepower 5.9-liter engine with a mandatory 6-speed manual. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and side airbags. Unique to the V12 Vantage is a Sport button that alters throttle response and exhaust tuning to suit performance driving. Other available features include satellite radio, navigation system, and front- and rear-obstacle detection. Optional on the V8 is a Sports Pack, which includes specific wheels and a performance suspension. This report is based on evaluations of the 2010 Aston Martin Vantage.
