The UA55C9000 is easily the priciest 3D TV in Asia with a whopping sticker tag of S$12,888 (US$9,290.66). While it does not include any precious metal or rocks, this svelte 7.98mm-thin panel in brushed aluminum is a sight to behold and the perfect centerpiece for the living room. The 55-incher comes with a S$699 (US$503.89) touchscreen remote control, which you can also show off for its color video playback, Wi-Fi and text input functions. Samsung will even throw in a premium concierge service including integration of the display with the user's existing home entertainment system and a personalized tutorial for the whole family by the firm's butlers.
It's a bit redundant to talk about technical features for such a premium product. But for the record, this TV supports multi-3D formats, 2D-to-3D conversion, 200Hz refresh rate and Samsung Apps for Web content streaming via Wi-Fi (click here for more information). For the shrewd businessman, this panel is bundled with a complementary BD-C6900 3D Blu-ray player, two adult-sized and two kid-sized rechargeable 3D glasses.
