The QWERTY sporting CDMA smartphone LG Ally is coming with GSM engine. It will go under C710 Aloha and will be the first LG running on Android OS v2.1 Eclair.
LG C710 Aloha has the same specs as its Verizon's sibling - 3.2-inch capacitive WVGA display, sliding-out full QWERTY keyboard, 600MHz Qualcomm processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and VGA video and microSD card slot.
The connectivity package is also up-to-date - Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack.
LG Aloha runs on Android 2.1 Eclair (why not v2.2) and is capable of playing DivX/XviD videos. Tight social-networking integration is also onboard.
LG Aloha is still not announced and there is no info on the release date and the pricing. We believe the official unveiling and launch should happen soon.
