The long-awaited new PC operating system from Microsoft, Windows 7, is expected to be released in 2009, but eager users started downloading and installing the "Release Candidate" version (translation: near-final product) this week.
Microsoft Learning has produced a nice set of e-learning resources to help users get prepared for Windows 7:

Most of the early reviews of Windows 7 are very positive; I've been using it for about a month, and have been impressed by its responsiveness and new features.
