iPhone 3.0 to have Nike+ pre-installed?

We can't wait to get our hands on it. It seems like Nike will finally be adding iPhone compatibility to Nike+.

Last year, many iPhone users were diappointed when iPod touch got in on the act but left iPhone out. But the iSpazio - an Italian website has discovered in iTunes 8.2 that iPhone may actually join the party soon.

Apparently iTunes 8.2 boasts a section dedicated to Nike+, with a "sensor" option to link up to any external sensors. What is more exciting is that when you link up your iPhone, you can have the option to create a Nike+ account. You can also see a history of your earlier sessions.

Whether this means having a new iPhone pre-installed with Nike+, it is not yet really clear. Nonetheless, we'll be keeping you updated with anything we hear, so keep checking back for the latest.
