The 12-megapixel Digital Ixus 200 IS has all the bells and whistles you can expect from a touchscreen shooter. It has a 3-inch LCD on the rear, and you can tap the display to set focusing points. The 5x optically stabilized zoom lens has an ultra wide-angle focal length of 24mm, which makes it suitable for taking group photos or landscape shots.
The PowerShot range sees the introduction of the 10-megapixel S90, a lightweight shooter which competes with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3with its 3.8x zoom and 28mm F2.0 lens. The new snapper has manual exposure mode and is capable of recording RAW format images.

Interestingly, the image resolution on the G11 is only 10 megapixels, compared to the 14.7 megapixels on its predecessor.
