The All-New Hyundai Staria

The Hyundai Staria Panel Van has emerged as a versatile and cost-effective replacement for the Hyundai H1. This vehicle has taken the MPV market by storm with its futuristic design, offering both space and style.
It competes against bigwigs like the Toyota Quantum Crewcab and Volkswagen Transporter crew bus and sets itself apart with its unique five-seater layout and huge cargo space. With an enormous 2 890-litre boot capacity, the Hyundai Staria Panel Van can transport a wide variety of goods, including three or more bicycles, which can be stacked upright. The cargo bay is accessed via double side-opening doors, while passengers can enter the rear seat through sliding doors on either side. The rear bench, which accommodates three passengers, is not adjustable but offers plenty of leg and headroom, with ample storage space under the seat.
The vehicle’s power comes from a proven four-cylinder, 2,2-litre turbodiesel engine, which produces 130 kW of power at 3 800 r/min and 440 N.m of torque at 1 500 r/min. This is sent to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, allowing a maximum speed of 185 km/h. Hyundai also claims that the Staria Panel Van can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 12,5 seconds, making it a powerful and efficient vehicle.
Despite being a utility-focused model, the Hyundai Staria Panel Van doesn’t skimp on features, providing a comfortable ride for families and professionals alike. It comes equipped with automatic climate control, cruise control, a wireless smartphone charger, electric windows, USB charging points in the front, a reversing camera, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Most importantly, the cabin has a modern feel to it, with a large touchscreen and digital instrument panel, unlike many rudimentary interiors of its competitors. The artificial leather seats are decent and the height- and reach-adjustable steering column ensures a comfortable driving position for drivers of all sizes. Although the dashboard plastics are hard, the overall feel of the cabin is not too utilitarian.

Compared to other vehicles in its class, the Hyundai Staria Panel Van offers a quiet and refined driving experience, with none of the metallic vibrators that can be found in some panel vans. The metal-lined cargo hold is also well-insulated from the passenger quarters, ensuring a comfortable and quiet ride for all.
