While Samsung is busy getting in Apple’s head, Huawei is making its own passive attack at the brand-new Galaxy Note 9 shortly after its launch.
Less than a day after Samsung’s grand launch in New York, Huawei wasted no time in making sure that everyone knows what a “real generation upgrade” is.

This tweet’s timing certainly seems fitting; despite making no mention of the Galaxy Note 9, it’s clear what Huawei was targeting.
The Galaxy Note 9 is admittedly a minor upgrade over its predecessor and even borrows several components from the Galaxy S9+ released earlier this year. Huawei capitalized on this fact and showed how big of a gap there is between the P10 Plus and P20 Pro, specifically in the camera department.
With the Mate 20 launching in a few months, Huawei has a lot of time to refine its next flagship and make it worlds better than both the Mate 10 and P20 series.
And they better, or else they’ll feel the wrath of Samsung’s aggressive marketing team.
